Steve is a Project manager who has many years’ experience in industry and has been involved in development work in Africa in environmental protection, poverty alleviation and community development. He has supported charitable work to help in developing sustainable livelihoods among the rural poor in Ghana. He has also been instrumental in mentoring a number of young volunteers in the UK to participate in conservation work overseas. He is also leading an effort to develop sustainable housing in Ghana that can be replicated in other parts of Africa.
· Brian is a development worker and trainer in beekeeping in Sub-Saharan
Africa in countries such as Sierra Leone, Liberia Cameroon and Nigeria. He has personally supported the building of a women’s training centre in Ghana. He supports a number of charities in Africa that provide training and poverty alleviation.
· Peter is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist with a wide range of experience in Charitable work. Has held various charitable Trustee and Leadership roles, Wiltshire Fairtrade County Group Chair helping raise the profile of Fairtrade as the most effective way to ensure farmers and producers in developing countries get a fair deal on their produce and products; Larkrise Community Farm Charity Company Treasurer; Disabled on Line Charitable Company working with people of disability enabling access to IT; Biss Meadows Country Nature Park, community access and development, Community Sensory Garden Charity Treasurer. Also, as a member of Engineers Without Borders supported a number of international development projects undertaken by engineering University students.
Esther is a finance professional who has a number of years’ experience working in the finance office of established charities. She has also supported charitable work among Black and minority ethnic communities in North Wales. She has helped organize social programs to improve the welfare low income people as well supported refugees through charitable donations.
A medical professional with many years as a General practitioner in North Wales. She has been actively involved in the campaign to reduce period poverty among teenage girls in the UK. She has also been actively engaged in providing medical outreach to the poor and vulnerable in Africa as well as supported BAME communities in the UK.
